🎨 Paint-by-Numbers: Duck Edition 🦆

I recently finished a paint-by-numbers piece featuring an adorable little duck, and honestly? I am weirdly proud of it. There’s something so peaceful about slowly filling in each section, colour by colour — it’s like a quiet little meditative moment in the middle of the chaos.

The duck itself turned out way cuter than I expected (possibly helped by the fact that I got strangely attached to it halfway through). I think I’ve officially entered my “cosy craft era” and I’m not mad about it. Gavin actually bought this for me for Christmas like 2 years ago, so it’s nice to actually get round to it.

Also: highly recommend paint-by-numbers to anyone who wants a creative outlet but doesn’t feel “artistic.” You don’t have to be good at painting — you just need a cup of tea, some decent lighting, and a bit of patience. People have actually commented on how good it is and I feel like such a fraud for it being paint by numbers 😂

🖌️ Would I hang the duck in a gallery? Debatable.
🐣 Would I protect it with my life now it’s finished? Absolutely.

If you want to see a time-lapse of this, I will eventually (sorry I am rubbish) post it on Youtube, and when I do a link will appear here.
